Honda CR-V EX
The engine in the Honda CR-V EX changes to a 1.5L turbocharged and intercooled 4-cylinder that puts out 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. When this engine is paired with the CVT, the vehicle can achieve up to an EPA-estimated 28 city/34 highway MPG.* This remains this way for the rest of the trim levels.
Your entertainment suite gets an upgrade to a 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen and 6-speaker sound system. You also get Apple CarPlayâ„¢ and Android Autoâ„¢ smartphone integration. Use the phone's charging cable to connect it to the car and access text messages, music playlists, podcasts, and more on the display screen.
Additionally, the EX introduces Honda Sensing®. This suite of driver-assisting technologies helps keep you more aware of your surroundings to prevent an accident from occurring. One feature included in this suite is the Collision Mitigation Braking System™. If it senses an unavoidable collision with a vehicle in front of you, it can apply the brakes so that one doesn't occur.
Honda CR-V EX-L
The CR-V EX-L has many similar features to the EX, including heated front seats and a 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat with 4-way power lumbar support. However, in this trim, you'll get leather-trimmed seating and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Plus, the driver's seat will now have a 2-position memory feature. With the push of a button, your seat adjustments will be saved, making it easier to trade driving duties with someone else.
The sound system also improves a bit in the EX-L, with eight speakers. Like in the EX, you'll get a trial subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. With this feature, you get your choice of over 150 channels of commercial-free music, plus sports, comedy, and more to listen to.
There's also the SMS Text Message Function, which is in the EX trim, too. You can listen to text messages, and either reply with one of the fixed phrases or call the person back through the Bluetooth® function.
Honda CR-V Touring
As we mentioned above, the new CR-V offers lots of cargo space to fit all your needed items inside. The Touring trim offers great convenience with the hands-free access power tailgate. If your hands are full, simply swipe your foot under the rear bumper and the tailgate will automatically open.
Like in the EX-L trim, the front passenger can get in a comfortable seating position, with 4-way power adjustment.
The sound system is upgraded with nine speakers and a subwoofer. Plus, you get the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation Systemâ„¢ with Voice Recognition, Honda HD Digital Traffic, and HD Radioâ„¢. The directions will be displayed on the 7-inch screen, and you can use the buttons on the steering wheel to easily use the system.
Plus, the Touring makes it easier to see on rainy nights. It not only come with LED headlights, but it also comes with rain-sensing windshield wipers. You won't need to adjust the wiper levels at all. Instead, the blades will automatically start moving once precipitation hits the windshield.
