Honda Civic EX Technology

Next up is the Honda Civic EX technology level. The EX prioritizes performance by upgrading its powertrain. It all begins with the engine.

The standard Civic engine, which is in the LX and Sport trims, is a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that generates 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. For the EX trim, the 1.5L engine comes with a turbocharger, which raises its output to 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque.

Additionally, the engine utilizes direct fuel injection technology as opposed to the multi-point fuel injection technology that the base motor has in place.

Honda Civic EX-L

On the Civic EX-L, you'll have several upgrades when it comes to convenience.

On chilly days, activate the heated front seats to dispel the cold away. The leather-trimmed seats will help you relax on long commutes as well.
