2021 Honda CR-V Review

As with every new model year, Honda has been upping the technology and abilities of their diverse model lineup. Favored crossovers around East Stroudsburg, Stroudsburg, Easton, Jim Thorpe, and Bethlehem-like the CR-V-continue to grow and evolve.

Ample Power & Efficiency

The modest size of the new Honda CR-V means it doesn't take a ton of horsepower or torque to get the vehicle moving. Also, the light curb weight and available hybrid motor give you the choice of emphasizing fuel economy.

The base engine is a 4-cylinder that generates 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. For the hybrid offering, an AC electric motor pairs with a gas engine to create 181 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque.

There are three drive modes with the hybrid, ECON, Sport, and EV, and the fuel economy registers as much as an EPA-estimated 40 city/35 highway MPG when you choose the base Hybrid EX trim.¹

Available Trim Levels

Each trim level of the 2021 Honda CR-V comes with distinct features and abilities, which separate it from the rest of the trims. The base LX rides on sharp 17-inch alloy wheels and makes interior versatility possible with 60/40 split-fold rear seats.

Stepping up to the EX, the next trim, gives you access to Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. These integration systems are designed to link to your smartphone. Once linked, all applications on your phone can be accessed from the Honda CR-V touchscreen display.

The EX-L is the next trim, offering refinement and practicality in the form of a leather-trimmed interior, power tailgate, power-adjustable seating, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The peak of the non-hybrid trim level list is the Touring, which sports a wireless phone charger and heated steering wheel, among other features.

The hybrid lineup has its own trio of trim levels:

• Hybrid EX
• Hybrid Touring 
• Hybrid EX-L

Many of the added features in the hybrid trims follow the same inclusion path as the non-hybrid trims.
