Honda HR-V Fuel Efficiency

With all too many SUVs, you have to sacrifice efficiency for other features, such as power or capability. With the 2018 HR-V, however, you don't have to, because it gets an EPA-estimated 25 to 27 mpg in the city and an EPA-estimated 31-33 mpg on the highway1.

Mileage varies very slightly depending on whether you opt for the six-speed manual transmission, continuously variable transmission with front wheel drive or continuously variable transmission with all-wheel drive.

HR-V Interior Dimensions

In the base trim of the Honda HR-V (the LX), you'll find manually adjustable cloth seating for five. Opt for the EX or EX-L for heated leather seats throughout. Up front, you get 39.5 inches of headroom and 41.2 inches of legroom. In the back, you'll get 38.3 inches of headroom and 39.3 inches of legroom - giving adults plenty of room all over.

The cargo area is extremely versatile. You can fold the seats in many different ways, making it easy to haul everything from bicycles to large TVs. You get an excellent amount of maximum cargo space for larger items - up to 58.8 cubic feet. If you don't need that much, leave all seats in place for 24.3 cubic feet of space.

Honda HR-V Media & Technology

The new HR-V is absolutely loaded with options when it comes to infotainment technology, perfect for keeping the whole family entertained on those longer drives! Standard is a five-inch display screen and, of course, Bluetooth® for audio streaming and voice control. Upgrade to either the EX or EX-L for extra fun features, such as a seven-inch touch display with navigation, and HondaLink®, which keeps you connected to the vehicle via a smartphone app.

Available convenience features include push button start and Honda LaneWatch™, which activates a small side camera every time you use your right turn signal, giving you better visibility when switching lanes. These features are standard in the EX and EX-L.
